YOUTH EDUCATION
Goals:
Our foundation is in the Bible, as the inspired, inerrant word of God, and
therefore the complete authority in faith and practice. We will therefore:
1. "Speak where the Bible speaks, and be silent where the Bible is silent."
2. Not add to or take away
from the scriptures.
3. Respect the silence of
scripture and accept what God has specifically authorized in His Word.
4. Not bind what God has not bound, nor loose what God has not loosed.
Objectives:
1. Everything taught must begin with a Biblical principle and text.
2. We must have a balanced program with the entire Bible covered in a period of
three years.
3. Every lesson should be developed to instill an understanding of Biblical
truth/principles.
4. Our lessons must impress upon our children that the Bible presents only
undenominational Christianity.
5. Our classes must encourage our young people to commit their lives to Christ
and give them the foundation to continue faithfully through their lives.
6. Our children should grow to appreciate the church belonging to the Lord who
purchased it with His own blood
